Osage Type II Transit Ambulance
The Type II ambulance is available on the Ford Transit van chassis. The Transit has been proven to be a reliable ambulance for EMS services throughout the country. They offer affordable, fuel-efficient vehicles in three (3) different engine types (Ecoboost gas, regular gas, diesel). Furthermore, Osage is building on the T350 High-Roof van, as well as the T250 & T350 Mid-Roof Transit. And new to 2020, Ford will be offering the Transit with AWD (all-wheel-drive) option.
As of recently, Type II ambulances were mostly operated for transfer or inter-facility transports. While that still can be true, Osage is building the premier custom Type II’s in the US marketplace that are being utilized for all ALS/BLS calls and any type of emergency situation.

Transit Type II Features and Benefits
Osage offers the Type II on the Ford “Transit” and the Mercedes “Sprinter”. The “Transit” is available in 3 different engine options, two gas and a diesel, while the “Sprinter” is available in the diesel only.
