This year, the North Carolina Office (NCO) of EMS (formerly EM Today) is hosting its 45th annual NC EMS Expo in Greensboro, North Carolina. This event will take place Friday, September 28-Wednesday, October 3. NC EMS Expo offers the opportunity for attendees to hear speakers from across the United States who are experts in the field of emergency medical services.
This year, NC EMS Expo will include sessions on reducing stress from the EMS lifestyle, crisis intervention, patient complications, customer service, and a 2018 year in review research presentation. For a full list of sessions, please visit the expo’s website.
Osage Ambulances will be in attendance with Southeastern Specialty Vehicles. We will be showcasing a UNC HealthCare Type 1 Medium Duty ambulance built on a 2018 Kenworth. This unit is being shown thanks to David Vaninwagon of North Carolina Health Care. The unit includes a second traverse Stryker Power-LOAD retention system, LED aisle strip lighting, and features a custom layout. This unit was the first built by Osage on a four-door Kenworth chassis, and is used as a Children’s Critical Care Ambulance.
The exhibit hall will be open Monday, October 1, from 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM, and Tuesday, October 2, from 8:00 AM – 11:00 AM. Come see us!
