ANSWERS TO YOUR QUESTIONS

Save money, extend your vehicle’s life, and get the upgrades you need—all with a remount from Osage

Think about your needs:
– Does the box design meet your service requirements?
– Is the structure of our module in good condition?
– What’s our budget for this project?

Absolutely! We can make changes to the interior—think new paint, lighting, flooring, and more. However, exterior changes, like altering compartments or cutting into the structure, may be cost-prohibitive. At a certain point, it might make more sense to consider a new vehicle.

We offer remounts for a variety of chassis types:
Type I: Ford F-Series, Dodge Ram, Chevrolet (Diesel or Gas)
Type III: Ford E-Series, Chevy G-Series (Gas)
Medium Duty: Freightliner, International (Diesel)

No, Osage designs boxes to match specific chassis types. Each combination is rigorously tested to meet federal and state standards, so they can’t be swapped without losing certification.

Type I and Type III boxes have different lengths, wheel sizes, and structural designs. Adapting one to fit another would be costly and result in a non-certified, unreliable unit.

If remounted with us, Osage boxes come with a Lifetime Structural Warranty to ensure your box can withstand multiple chassis updates. Plus, remounting is a great way to save money while extending your vehicle’s life.

Typically, the remount process takes about 90 days. We often provide a loaner ambulance to keep you on the road. Contact your dealer for current lead times.

Always check your state’s regulations—each has different specifications for cot mount systems. We’re happy to guide you through the specifics!

We do accept trade-ins. If you have an old box or want to upgrade from another brand, ask your dealer about trade-in options. It’s a great way to get the box you need within your budget.
