OPPORTUNITIES FOR SKILLED CRAFTSMEN

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Media Blasting Technician to join our shop-based ambulance restoration team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strip automotive paint and body filler using aluminum oxide media to prepare them for bodywork and painting
  • Set up, calibrate, and operate blast equipment
  • Monitor, reclaim, filter, and replace aluminum oxide media to maintain optimal blasting efficiency
  • Inspect stripped parts for uniform profile finish
  • Perform daily preventative maintenance on blast nozzles, hoses, seals, ventilation systems, and dust collectors

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong understanding of sheet metal thickness, panel warping prevention, and basic vehicle components
  • Experience adjusting air pressure (PSI) and media flow rates
  • Ability to handle high-pressure hoses and stand for long periods of time
  • Prior experience operating media blasting equipment, preferred but not required


Position is based in a manufacturing environment. Physical activity will include reaching below/above shoulders, kneeling, bending, climbing ladders, lifting & carrying equipment.
