New for 2019 is the introduction of the Chevrolet Silverado 4500HD/5500/HD Type I Medium-Duty chassis. This truck will be offered in 4×4 or 4×2; and will have the popular 6.6L Duramax Turbo-Diesel, V8 along with the Allison 6-speed transmission. There are several configuration options, GVW capabilities, etc. so please let us know if this might interest you.
There has already been a ton of enthusiasm & ordering for New Builds, but many services are taking those Used Boxes off International/Terrastar/and older Chevy C-chassis and remounting their modules onto this new Chevy chassis. Calex (pictured) remounted their Osage box. They went from a 2009 C4500 to a 2019 C5500 chassis. You can see more pictures on our website under the Deliveries tab. This was the first remount on the new chassis option done by Osage.
